Testimonials

Anthony helped me through my NFL career, my ACL tear, and my transition after football. His knowledge of the body along with his passion and excitement for training made training something to always look forward to because I knew I was going to get better.
— Omar Bolden, Super bowl champion
His attention to detail stands out the most. Even during the simplest movements or warm-ups, Anthony made sure every rep was done perfectly with intent. As an athlete, it’s important to have a trainer that’s invested in everything I do.
— Brandon Marshall, Super Bowl Champion
I needed a lifestyle change when I came to train with Anthony. I came in wanting to lose weight and get stronger. Within the first four months I had reached all the goals I wanted to. I learned how to box, I was happy with how I looked and felt, and where I proudly had reached a point to train and continue on my own, I knew it would not be the same without him. Anthony works with my lifestyle and doesn’t try to create one for me; there’s no shaming me when I break diet and he makes training fun!
— Alice pyo, Stanford University Chef
After taking my son to nearly half a dozen different trainers, I am grateful we found Anthony. As a parent wanting to do everything to help my child be successful, it felt good to find a trainer who can do exactly that. I saw immediate improvements in my son’s performance. What was special to me was that it isn’t only heavy lifting with Coach Anthony, but there’s a supplement of mobility and corrective exercises to go along with the speed work and weight lighting.

MY PROMISE

I believe in being great at the basics. Yes, everyone wants to look better and be happy with how their body looks, but losing weight and/or getting stronger is should be a given from any consistency of training and healthy eating.

I am known to be a stickler for detail, and I take pride in that. Training is forever evolving, and, for the most part, for the better. Where there is a time and place for dynamic movements, I ground my approach in mastery of the basics: Being able to hinge in difference to squatting, being able to breathe relative to creating tension in the body vs breathing for postural correction, etc.

Training is so much deeper than how exhausting a workout can be. For all my clients, I am endlessly invested in identifying and resolving muscle imbalances/weaknesses; not just teaching the movement, but enhancing the mind-muscle connection so when the progressive phases of training (lifting heavy, sprinting, metabolic training, plyometrics) are reached, clients are able to do so safely and confidently. You can always trust that you will not only look better, but you will feel and move better from training with me.

SEE MY HANDY WORK

About Me

I have worked with dozens of professional athletes. While most have dominantly been NFL players, I have also worked with pro athletes with USMNT, and pro basketball players from overseas.

My specialty for enhancing performance (speed development, explosiveness, change of direction, etc.) is rooted in my emphasis for biomechanics and corrective exercise.

It is my belief that we are well passed the days where strength is strictly how much weight you can move, but, rather, it’s a cumulative of everything; force production, balance, stability, and control.

My training methods are not limited to strictly athletes, but are, even more so, for the general population. Feeling pain free, moving efficiently, and living healthy is something we all strive for.
